Removing signature text and setting up an alias
You will find these two options contained within the settings menu. Select the account you would like your changes to apply to and enter your content in the boxes provided.
Signature text
If you want to remove any signature content from the SMS you send, copy it into the box provided, save the changes and it will be removed.
Enabling an alias
If you want your messages to appear from a company name or another telephone number, tick the enable alias box and simply add your chosen details into the space provided. You can choose anything up to 11 characters.
Setting up email forwarding and direct reply
You will find both of the options for email forwarding and direct reply included under the “receiving” tab in Echo for Email.
Email forwarding
Email forwarding allows text messages received into your inbox to be sent to an email address. You can enter either a single or a comma separated string of addresses to which all received messages will be forwarded.
To set email forwarding up please tick the box and write the email address(es) you would like the messages to go to in the box provided. Save any new changes.
Enabling direct reply
Direct reply is an auto response back to the original person that sent the SMS message. So if you send a text message via email to a mobile number, their reply will automatically be sent back to you.
To enable direct reply, first select the account you would like this to apply to, tick the box on the direct reply screen and save your changes.
