Overview
We support over 10,000 organizations of all sizes around the world to send and receive SMS messages. Whether using our Echo application or the Esendex API, all customers benefit from the highest possible level of service.
Our headquarters are in Nottingham, in the UK, and we have offices in Barcelona, Melbourne and here in San Francisco. At the last count there were 35 in the team but we're growing all the time.
Esendex was founded in 2001 and is privately funded. We’ve grown every year since founding and turnover is set to pass $10m this year. A strong and profitable business - we’re here to stay with ambitious plans for the years ahead.
The future
There are 4 times as many cell phones as personal computers in the world - virtually all of which can send and receive SMS messages. As the world’s most comprehensive and direct communication channel we believe that business use of SMS will continue to grow for many years to come.
But this is just the beginning. The growth in mobile throws up many more opportunities and we have a packed road-map of new services that we'll be rolling out in the months ahead.
Many will be tested outside the core Esendex business. The first of these is a free service, MoZoop, that allows users to transfer their contacts from one phone to another.
With Esendex, we get both good service and competitive pricing. We anticipate them remaining a core part of our total global service offering as we expand over the coming years.
